„Building on the city's existing buildings. Densification of an existing residential neighbourhood in Constance"
The Am Pfeiferhölzle residential neighbourhood in Constance, built in the 1970s, is surrounded by the Uniwald forest, the cemetery, and a quiet residential
area. With increasing demand for living space, the area needs to adapt while preserving its character. The aim is to condense and enhance the underused green spaces between the buildings, fostering a stronger community by creating a neighbourhood meeting pla-
ce. Additionally, two new buildings will be designed to be barrier-free, promoting inclusion and enabling all residents to participate equally in community life.
